About the Event
Now in its 7th year, the Upper White Cover Crop Program has provided farmers in the watershed opportunities to start using cover crops with free seed and an option for aerial seeding for up to 40 acres. This event will feature presentations about the program, including base-line soil sampling and biomass data. Host Joe Hamilton will have his planter to discuss first-hand experiences in using cover crops in a no-till system. AJ Adkins, NTM Ag / Dawn Equipment will present on equipment adjustments and modifications for different cropping scenarios.
