About the Event
We'll be joining Steve Groff live from Pennsylvania where he'll show us what is happening in his fields now: What cover crops have been planted, why they were selected, and what his plans are for vegetable production in those fields. Along with the in-field visit, Steve will show us images of what can be expected in his soil health cropping system. Steve Groff and his family farm some 300 acres of cash grain crops, cover crops for seed, pumpkins, hard squash and heirloom tomatoes in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. For the past 25 years, his Cedar Meadow Farm has conducted thousands of cover crop research trials. Well known for his knowledge and education in using no-till and cover crops, Groff has recently expanded his focus to include soil health practices in hemp production.
